DRC Stream 500
Digital Rapids DRC-Stream500 is a half-size PCI single channel
real-time video capture board. Analog video (S-video, composite) and
audio (balanced and unbalanced) inputs. Encodes in software to Windows
Media 9, Real Helix, DivX, Quicktime (MPEG-4), AVI.
Digital Rapids DRC-Stream500 Overview
The DRC-Stream500 hardware is a powerful media encoding architecture.
Two DRC-Stream500 models are available, with (Stream500M) and without
(Stream500) MPEG encoding. The DRC-Stream hardware has the power to
process one live video source into multiple bitrate, multiple format
compressed media streams.
The DRC-Stream platform has advanced video processing features such
as Motion Adaptive de-interlacing, 3:2 and 2:2 inverse telecine, 3D
motion adaptive noise reduction, and motion adaptive scaling. Standard
audio features include 8 channels of 7-band parametric EQ (each band
can be configured as EQ/gain, Shelf, or Butterworth), Dynamic Range
compression/expansion and independent gain controls.
Software
The
Stream software application is standard on all Digital Rapids products.
It gives you one simple, consistent interface that leads you through
the steps of creating multiple encode formats in just a few steps and
allows you to deliver your content with as little as one mouse click.
One interface that controls all of your content, manages all of the
real-time encoding parameters, and manages the distribution and
archiving of your media.
There are two versions of the Stream software, the basic application
known simply as Stream and the more advanced application known as
StreamPRO.
