The edje 2100 is a real-time low bit-rate MPEG-2 encoder with two stereo pair balanced audio inputs, audio level controls and a LCD keypad in a 1/2 size RU chassis. Includes both DVB-ASI and IP outputs. DVB-C, DVB-S, and DVB-T Compliant. Extracts ATSC closed captioning and DVB teletext from VBI. Encode features IBM eNV micro-code upgradable DTV encode with separate audio channel DSPs. Includes external 12v power supply for 120v/240v mains. CE Marked. Half RU chassis requires Rackmount Tray below. Deploy with DTA3050-ASI multiplexer and Pesa matrix switch for N+1 redundant configurations.

Real Time High Quality MPEG 2 Encoding

Support for Composite, YC and optionally an SDI digital video input
enables the edje-2100 to deliver stunning images at the lowest MPEG 2
compression rates.
Dolby AC-3 Audio Compression option
The edje-2100 supports Dolby AC-3. Support up to four mono or two stereo compressed bit streams.

Absolute Control
Controlling and configuring the
edje-2100 is a breeze. Whether using the integrated front panel keypad
and LCD, Serial Terminal or remote Ethernet, the edje-2100 responds
rapidly and reliably to the desires of the operator. When the edje-2100
is used with the edje-3000 Multiplexer, control of the encoder is
available through the edje-3000's HTML configuration pages.
Additionally, the edje-3000 configures and manages up to ten
