Encodes MPEG 1 and MPEG 2 according
to the DVD, SVCD and VCD file formats. Supports up to Full D1
(720x480/576) and 10Mbps. Capable of real-time VBR and equipped with
SDI (BNC) digital video and Composite and S-Video (BNC) analog video
interfaces, and balanced (RCA Jack) AES/EBU digital audio interfaces.
Includes MPEG Composer 200 Mac Version encoding management software
with VTR control cable.
This has the same feature set as AMP0658 with the addition of the
following capabilities: 2-Channel Dolby Digital (AC-3) encoding and
Dolby Digital 5.1 pass through.
MPEG Master is a professional half-sized PCI MPEG-2 and MPEG-1 encoding
board designed for DVD, SVCD and VCD content creation. MPEG Master
combines with Apple's DVD Studio Pro, to form a highly efficient and
streamlined DVD encoding and authoring environment, which facilitates
speed and enhances creativity.

MPEG Master supports advanced encoding features including: VTR control,
digital inputs, Dolby Digital audio and variable bit-rate encoding.
MPEG Master comes bundled with MPEG Composer, Optibase's encoding
management application, which offers an intuitive, user-friendly
interface for selecting either presets or specific encoding parameters.
With MPEG Composer you can encode a single MPEG file or batch encode
several consecutive files at a time. MPEG Composer also lets you
fine-tune calibration settings on-the-fly for each clip during encoding.
