MPEG-1 Quality at Wavelet Prices
For the same compressed bit-rate, VideoONE Sentry Four's MPEG-1 video quality is superior to wavelet's video quality. VideoONE Sentry Four uses Array's Video FLOW MPEG-1 encoder chipset that produces superior video at high compression ratios and very low bit rates. In addition to better video quality, MPEG-1 has the benefit of being an industry standard compression format that can be easily played on any PC, unlike wavelet that is a proprietary algorithm that requires special software or hardware for playback.
Automatic Motion Detection
VideoONE Sentry Four includes the option to automatically detect motion from any camera signal. Motion detection zones can be defined as small as 16 by 16 pixels, with the ability to have up to 330 detection zones for NTSC camera signals and up to 396 zones for PAL camera signals. The sensitivity for each detection zone can be set per camera.
Plug-and-Play System Speeds and Simplifies Installation
The VideoONE Sentry Four solution includes Windows drivers and easy-to-use application software. The application software includes a user interface for controlling, recording, viewing and playing back video from up to 4 cameras.The built-in ease of use enables fast installation of VideoONE Sentry Four into a cost-effective digital video surveillance solution.
