Videum 0016 VO is a sixteen video channel capture card(PCI). It is designed for video surveillance and security applications. Videum 0016 VO is capable of an aggregate 240 fields per second, divided amongst sources. This is ideal when density is a concern and a full frame rate video is not required for each source. Videum 0016 VO comes with MJPEG compression capabilities.
Videum 0016 VO comes with a dongle providing BNC connectors for sixteen composite video sources.
Performance and Quality
Winnov’s Elastic Buffer architecture, coupled with its Multi-DMA engine, optimizes the system’s PCI bus use, to deliver clear and sharp images at high field rates with very low CPU utilization and very low power consumption.
With up to 240 fps (Fields Per Second) aggregate video bandwidth per card in the system, Videum 0016 is the best choice when looking for the optimum cost to performance and reliability ratio in a multi-camera deployment.
Scalability and Flexibility
Videum 0016 VO is designed to leverage multi-processor systems (SMP capable), and easily scales to multi-board systems without the typical bus conflicts found with capture cards that do not have an on-board frame buffer.
Furthermore, selectable video signal termination simplifies installations where daisy chaining the video signals is required.
High Integration
Videum 0016 VO integrates also a sophisticated Watchdog with an on-board failure log, enabling developers to catch intermittent software-based failures. In addition, 32 programmable digital I/Os can be configured as input triggers or control signals for external devices.
