Digital TV now comes in High Definition. High Definition DVB-S2 satellite TV brings the ultimate TV experience to the PC screen. HD gives you the best quality video and CD quality audio. But if you can't currently receive high definition digital satellite TV, the WinTV-HVR-4000 can still be used to watch and record cable TV, Freeview or standard free-to-air digital satellite TV.
Freeview DVB-T digital terrestrial TV & radio on your PC! Watch more than 50 Freeview digital terrestrial TV broadcasts and digital terrestrial radio on your PC, with a simple rooftop aerial*. WinTV-HVR 4000 will also support High Definition DVB-T channels (when available).
Analogue cable TV on your PC screen (terrestrial antenna, too). Connect WinTV-HVR-4000 to cable TV and you can watch and record TV programmes to disk. Record your TV shows (or your home videos) using "Good, Better or Best" MPEG-2 compression. Schedule FM radio recordings in WMA 32, 64 or 128 K/bits! You can also receive analogue teletext.
Digital Video Recorder: Record analogue, DVB-T or DVB-S TV in high quality MPEG-2, or high definition digital TV in H.264! Use CyberLink PowerCinema's TV scheduler to automatically record your favourites TV shows, on a daily, weekly or once only schedule.
