Having combined the DVB-S2/S and the DVB-IP/DVB-ASI Converters, this product is perfect for integrating traditional satellite broadcast into your modern IP workflows. Additionally, web based Software as well as DVSStationIP - Alitronika's TS Recorder/Player/Analyzer - is provided alongside the product, optimising its functionality greatly. Furthermore, greater versitility comes in with broad OS compatibility (Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7 ( 64bit ) Drivers/SDK, Linux Drivers), and the ability to save your previous configurations for a quick and easy set up.

Encapsulate your TS data as RTP/UDP over IP for ethernet transmission, maintainting the Pro-MPEG Code Of Practice #3(COP3) forward error correction (FEC). Dedicated hardware performs the encapsulation, which minimises the throughput and latency.

  • IP

    • Encapsulation of the TS data for Ethernet uses IP and the User Datagram Protocol (UDP), with Real-time Transport Protocol (RTP) encapsulation and COP3 FEC.

    • Dedicated hardware performs the encapsulation, which maximizes the throughput and minimizes latency.

    • The device can accept traffic from Ethernet network and recover TS data. 

    • For RTP encapsulated data, the device incorporates buffer to absorb network jitter and correct for packet reordering and packet duplication. 

    • COP3 FEC-based lost packet recovery is available.

    • For multiple TS interfaces, the AT60IP, individually maps each one to a specific UDP/IP socket (a combination of IP address and UDP port).

    • All other encapsulation parameters can also be individually configured per TS.
