Osprey 825e 2 Channel 3G HD-SDI

The Osprey 825e is a embedded audio and video capture card for Windows and Linux. Featuring two SDI inputs that can simultaneously capture two channels of 3G-SDI video. In addition it can capture four stereo pairs (eight channels) of SDI-embedded audio per video source.
The Osprey 825e can be used for a wide range of applications, such as capture/record multiple streams for live streaming multi-camera productions. With SimulStream support. This driver provides the option to feed multiple encoding applications at the same time. The most notable benefit of this feature is the ability to encode the same video source using different codecs at different frame rates and resolutions to support a wider range of devices and connection speeds, something encoding hardware and applications often lack the ability to do on their own.
Because of the high data-rates involved in multi-channel video capture, it is important to consider the computer that will be used. While the exact system requirements will vary depending on the specific capture or streaming software that will be used, a quad-processor or better workstation computer with a direct- or North Bridge-connected PCIe slot will likely be required.
